Family weddings have their traditions...
Rob's female cousins treat each groom to a little music therapy...last weekend they had to recruit a few Aunts...and cousins from the groom's maternal side as well.
We were supposed to head back to Chicago this weekend for a work-related meeting of Rob's...since it was a long weekend for the girls, we were going to bring them to swim at the hotel and see some Chicago sights...and visit my college roomate. However, the work meeting was re-scheduled (for the same Saturday as the wedding) and instead we found ourselves available to work at the school carnival tonight.
Due to all the rain we've had in the last...48? 60? hours, all of our Saturday plans have been cancelled. We are free to sell Girl Scout cookies with wild abandon, all over town! Or, snuggle under blankets and watch tv all day...if only we'd thought to get firewood in before all the rain came we could have a nice roaring fire...ah well, we'll take the free day anyway-they don't come around too much.
