I read that article too and thought of the handful of really good friends I've made from online over the years =). Andrew loves having a couple friends in another state who he wi-fi's with sometimes, cuz none of his friends here get to stay up late, especially for gaming!!
Some of the most interesting people I know I met online. It's fascinating stuff, befriending someone you know only through words and photos. I know people from all around the world and although I've met but a handful face to face, I consider them ALL friends.
