NASA TV

Did you see the space shuttle launch this morning? E3 and I watched it, and she thinks it would be fun to be an astronaut...although, she may be basing that opinion on the Boinga episode of Backyardigans.

Remember back at the beginning of the school year when I said E1's fourth grade teacher admitted to pretending to converse with 'Houston' at the NASA website? Now you can see what the astronauts see by watching NASA TV. Scroll down on the right and click 'watch NASA TV'.

Earlier they were showing satellite images of the California wildfires.

My daughter's school is a NASA Explorer school and they have regular contact with some of the astronauts/scientists/researchers there. She's the one who made the rest of the family sit down and watch the shuttle lift-off and she already knows the planets and outer space better than I do.

Being an astronaut would be awesome!
